What are people saying about their experiences...

Stephanie U.
We had such a wonderful experience at Pocono Mountains Forge. This was a gift for my husband as he wished to have a blacksmith/forge experience, and I'm so glad we found PMF. Bill and Jenny were welcoming, and we found ourselves amidst great company and conversation, which only added to the experience. Bill's knowledge and experience of his craft translates so well through his instruction. He is both kind and patient so that you never feel rushed. He also empowers you at the same time, if you feel your confidence slipping in your ability to create and finish a piece. The art and craftsmanship of forging takes a certain kind of love and dedication for the trade with years of building upon your knowledge and talent. All of the above is evident when you step inside Pocono Mountains Forge and work alongside Bill. We had so much fun that we wished we could have stayed longer. We'll definitely be back to visit the forge again and very much look forward to another class!

My favorite aspect of taking this class was that the pacing, as well as the direction, was left completely up to me - Bill let me choose what I wanted to make, and went through the entire process with me, as slowly as I needed, answering all my questions along the way. He really did a great job of helping me understand what I was doing and why, and I look forward to taking more classes at Poconos Mountain Forge.

This experience was great. I would recommend Bill and Jenny to everyone who wants to take a blacksmithing class. It is very personal and Bill is as hands off as possible so you can do the work. He always had a positive attitude toward the work you were doing. Bill and Jenny are genuinely nice people who love their craft, and that is a hard thing to find these days. Thanks to both of you!  I will be returning for sure.

Take this class! Learn this classic craft!!! I never thought I could bring so much info back home to want to do something that is so sustainable and classic. I want to learn more; I will be taking another class. Make things with your hands, reduce, reuse, and not buy on Amazon. Not to mention, look at things you made and feel better about.
